Lightning Rod

Electricity is all around us. Besides the things that we rely on, cell phones, toasters, blow dryers etc., our bodies couldn’t function without it.
The human heart, muscles and brain waves are all electric. Electric impulses course through our bodies giving commands such as “type on the key board” or “Kiss your wife”.
Dust particles in clouds rub together producing lightning, which is hotter than the surface of the sun. Electricity is around us, all the time, invisible but there.
We tap into electric power by plugging into an outlet, rubbing our feet on carpet for static electricity, often to shock a loved one, or flying a kite with a key attached into a thunder storm.
GOD’s power is even more intense, more awesome than mere electricity. By prayer we tap into the divine power of GOD. We can be the lightning rods affecting those around us, changing lives by HIS glory.
It’s kneel and accept the awesome power of GOD, working for his glory and his glory alone.
